BENGAL
Heavy orbital carrier platform. Research into extremely large reusable spacecraft architectures designed primarily for space-based operation.
Classification: HEAVY ORBITAL CARRIER PLATFORM.
The Bengal functions less like a conventional launch vehicle and more like mobile orbital infrastructure. It is studied as a platform that departs, operates and is maintained in space rather than one that cycles through an atmosphere.
Nothing in this program has been built. All figures are study parameters used to bound the architecture, not specifications of existing hardware.
