EARTH

02 · LEAVING THE SURFACE
ATMOSPHERE
The first barrier is the thickest. Heavy-lift reusable vehicles carry components, propellant and infrastructure through the atmosphere — not once, but repeatedly, until launch becomes routine.
03 · THE FIRST ECONOMY
ORBIT
In low Earth orbit, a new economy takes shape. Stations, depots, shipyards. Components arrive from Earth and are assembled into structures too large to launch intact. This is where the Bengal would be built.
04 · THE FIRST FRONTIER
MOON
240,000 miles from home. A permanent surface installation — habitats, power, construction systems, industrial capacity. The Moon is not a destination. It is a proving ground for everything that comes after.
05 · BUILDING IN SPACE
ASSEMBLY
The orbital shipyard is where the conventional limits end. Spacecraft assembled in the environment they will operate in — never needing to survive an atmosphere, never needing to fit inside a shroud.
